Hermeneutics
Claudio's fondest lecturing and writing has been on books, and after his volume on children's books (The Divine Child and the Hero) there have followed commentaries on biblical books, western epic poetry and on the inner meaning of other literary works such as the Mahabharata and Nizami's Yusuf and Zuleika. Also, in the introduction to Songs of Enlightenment, he discusses some myths and fairy tales as expressions of the one and universal "journey of the quest for healing transformation" known as "the tale of the hero".
